About the product

This product works differently to the photovoltaic geysers currently available on the market in South Africa. It is a direct plug pipe series linked to a water storage container and is a low-pressure unit and therefore reduces future maintenance and costs dramatically.

The basics on the workings of the product

The tubes that are plugged into the water storage container consist of patented borosilicate glass with a coated tube inserted to create a vacuum when installed. The tubes absorb the heat through the coating and transfer the heat to the water.

The heated water, then by natural force rises, and the cold water in turn sinks down to the bottom of the vacuum tube. This cycle continues constantly during the day and due to the fact that minimal heat is lost you have the privilege of having warm water 24/7/365.

Installation

Red Hot Solar only uses qualified installers, who are either registered plumbing technicians, alternatively, individuals, who have passed, the in-house training course for these products. You are assured of the highest installation quality at all times. Red Hot Solar strive to provide you the customer with the highest quality of technical assistance, and we ensure prior to installation that the plumbing technicians understand and adhere to our high quality standards. Installation will take about 4-6 hours and the majority of work done is outside your house on the roof.

• No Corrosion

The water storage compartment is made of 304-2B stainless steel which is anti corrosion resistant. By using stainless steel, the life span of the product is prolonged. The frame is made of anodised aluminium or powder coated steel, which is strong, attractive and also corrosion resistant.

• Anti Hail Damage Design

The tubes are made of borosilicate glass which is an extremely strong and transparent glass and is able to resist impact from a hail of up to 25 mm in diameter. It even functions in temperatures -35°C.

• Scale

We cannot prevent scale from making its appearance in your system. It exists in your kettle as well as your current system. In the event of scale forming we can be contacted to assist you with the removal thereof.
